Years ago I enjoyed all 38 books of the House of Winslow series. Over the Misty Mountains has the same spirit as the House of Winslow that I loved so dearly. Not only a historical novel, but an eternal message.

The characters were real down to earth people. I enjoyed the smooth read, the steady rhythm, and the exciting plot.  Add historical characters such as Daniel Boone, Little Carpenter and William/Lydia Bean, and an outstanding story is created.

I look forward to the next books.
