Her grandmother controls Grace, a member of a notable family. Boyfriend Zach abuses Grace, leaving her running from him.

Burke, also suffering from betrayal, chooses solitary, until Grace shows up on his beach.

I enjoyed the characters and cheered them on. I read Coming Home first, and it felt like the two stories collided. Totally great.
The writing style of Kimberly is fresh and clean. Switching
character’s point of view made the story read at a fast pace. I loved it.
Constant tension. If something wasn’t happening, it was
leading to an event. I couldn’t put the book down.

I look forward to more books by Kimberly McKay.

But other issues cause struggles within the family, leading to distrust and hurt. Steele takes dangerous risks in his new work. The thriller plot thickens, as he seeks to save a life.
