Camuy Caves, Puerto Rico

This park has an impressive cave system of limestone caves, sinkholes and underground rivers. I could picture myself going into this cave. There are at least ten miles of caves with at least 800 that still remain to be explored.

The cave tour begins with a tram ride through the park to the main attraction, Clara Cave. It is a massive chamber 700 feet long and 215 feet wide. It reminds me of the Carlsbad caves in Missouri.

Stalactites and stalagmites are all around, giving that wonderland ambiance. In one part of the cave a visitor can look up and see sunlight streaming back down.
