Eisenhower
President General Eisenhower didn’t like to bring any attention to himself. He often substituted the word “I” for “we”. General MacAuthur his equal was the opposite.

Quote from the book: But the self-effacing Eisenhower was appalled by MacArthur’s self-aggrandizement and his habit of talking about himself in the third person.

Personality wise only I’m like Eisenhower. I’m self-effacing and I have a difficult time with self-aggrandizement personalities. I did read a quote this past week that said something like this: “You can get a lot done if you’re not concerned with who gets the credit.” That sits bad with me but I know it’s true.

Do you see yourself as Self-effacing or self-aggrandizement?
